pagesinstages asked: I loved the SHIELD pilot, but I also have an irrational love of Clay Quartermain. I keep getting disappointed that he never gets a cameo. It's possibly the way his character was developed in Bendis's "Alias." He's probably the nicest SHIELD agent there is. This isn't really a complaint or a question, I'm just sharing. :) Also, "Clay Quartermain" is really fun to say.

Tom Brevoort is really nice, and puts up with my nonsense. I swear I didn’t imbibe anything weird when I wrote that ask, even though that’s definitely how it reads to me now.
